Evo 8 Trunk Interior

Seeing if anyone knows where to purchase the full trunk interior for an Evo 8. The rear of mine has been stripped out only having the spare tire and Infinity sub.

I was in the same boat and the prices I saw for full trunk interiors were out of what I wanted to spend on a trunk. Another option is to make your own floor for it and leave the sides bare.

Some 1/4" or 3/8" fiberboard or plywood covered in enclosure carpeting works well. I did it in 3 pieces so the tire can be accessed without pulling the entire floor. I'll post up pictures later if anyone is interested.

I cut it to 4 pieces so that I don't need to move the top piece anymore. I just used some oversized cardboard to create a template for the floor. I then cut up the template into 4 pieces, surrounding the spare tire hole. I then used these cardboard pieces to cut out some 1/2" fiberboard. After some sanding and trimming, I sprayed them with some Killz in order to seal the wood and prevent mold and water damage. Finished it up by spraying it with some adhesive glue and wrapped them in enclosure carpeting. The carpeting was also tacked underneath just in case the glue doesn't hold up (after 6 months so far it's great with heavy usage). I also added an eyebolt underneath to give me a pull string to lift it up and attach it to the trunk lid to hold it out of the way.

I probably overbuilt it with the 1/2" board but I have NO problem just tossing a toolbox and jack into the trunk.
