Sooooooo is there something out there that has a legitimate insert for 10,000 rpms?
And no nothing from extreme tuners.

They do make a couple different inserts where you disassemble your tach remove the needles and slip it over. Personally I'm not a fan of most of those as to how they look but to each their own.

Also, Ralliart makes a gauge cluster which looks pretty sweet and has a 10k tach. The challenge is that they are hard to come by and as such are quite expensive.

Get the Ralliart Evo 7-9 cluster, only downside is your speed will be in klm. Its plug and play.

I think what I'll do is get the creative juices flowing. Thanks for the offer on sourcing a cluster but I think it's a tad much on the overkill side. The car runs out to 9500 on pump as is and plans are 10.5k on e85. Think I might try something subtle but eye catching like my ethanol content analyzer.

Why don't you just get a HUD setup in your car. That is what I did and works a treat, never take my eyes off the road ever.

I bought an OBDII adaptor that bluetoothed to a samsung tab 7in that I have mounted on my dash which then projects onto my windscreen.

Why the need to rev out to 10.5K? Are you running out of rpm near the line? Are you still making decent power at that point?
