Secondary Fuel Level Sensor bad?

Thinking my secondary level sensor took a dump. Pump the tank full and the gauge only reads 7/8. Drops drastically after some mileage; 55 miles on a tank and the gauge says 1/2 tank. Anyone had this happen to them? Part number for secondary sensor? I tried to look it up but I'm slightly confused as which part exactly is the actual part i need to replace.

Pull both inspection covers and check the floats and senders before buying any new parts because they are expensive I don't see the senders sold separately on the parts diagram. If your inspection shows one or other is dead, call a parts specialist for advice. Good luck.

If you want you can meter them and look for the resistance value required. I don't know what it is off the top of my head though. somebody around hear surely does.

but i cant remember exactly what they said.
