Comes with the new car smell and the bells and whistles of any modern car. I just priced one online for gits and shiggles and with what I selected it came out to $44k and some change. I haven't priced other similar vehicles to see if there's something comparable in all respects for around the same price. Considering for $44k you're getting AWD, turbo engine capable of nice power, pretty good looks IMO, HIDs, leather, Nav, nice stereo, pretty good handling and braking plus a solid aftermarket parts network I don't see it being that much overpriced. Gas mileage still sucks but always has on these cars. I'd look hard at one if I was in the market for a 2015 vehicle and could afford something up to $50k.

If you don't mind buying a 2015 car that looks like a 2008 car then go for it.

That's true, good point. But, the 8-9 style didn't change too much for 6 years until the X's came out. And frankly it didn't need to. I don't think this body needed to change much either. And hell, it's the last year so they were probably like hey save some money and keep the body we already have since it's going away anyways.

The 2015 evo's don't come with Recaro's and of course they're overpriced. Can't even imagine how much they're gonna mark up the EVO final concept when it gets here..

Not sure, do some research on it, I heard they are dropping the 2.5 in the Sti for a new 2.0 due to ringland issues and the normal WRX will get the same 2.0. This is in Japan only but not sure if they will export it yet. I'm thinking this will be the next model after they have flogged off all the 2014 spec

Seeing how you're in the Philippines, it may not apply to you. I think it's just a US thing, since the current Recaros don't meet some new regulation, so the least pain-in-the-*** solution for Mitsubishi is to just put in the crappier seats that they already have that meet the standards.

Either way, for those this applies to, you still have options. I'm sure there are still some 2014s sitting on lots that you can get, though smart dealers who know the year-to-year differences may have some leverage since they know that despite the cars being a model year old, there is still demand for them. Also, seeing how Recaros were available on the 2008-2014 Evos, I'm sure that there's a decent chunk of owners who have replaced their seats with more aggressively bolstered ones, so they shouldn't be that hard to hunt down in the classifieds.

$44k out the door? That is approaching price of a used GTR, heck, I bought a '11 ISF which is probably better equipped than 2015 Evo for 37k. What gives?
