why you can buy in USA , its forbidden by the law ?

we are forbidden by law to import cars. However after a car is 25 years old its considered historical and allowed to be imported. Thats why right now we are starting to see more and more 1989-1990 Nissan gtrs.
If you really wanted to get one I am sure the government has their price but the cost wouldn't be worth it.
Special editions and limited production cars of under 500 or less are legal to import but the fees do make it unrealistic to do so.
they are ways around it cutting car in half ect.
