The right air intake

I'm looking for a air intake that won't mess with my idle or throw a code. Improve power, but no headache.

Drop in air filter is 100% guarantee you won't stall out when a pack of Harleys ride by. True story here on EvoM.

Remove the piece of weatherstripping blocking your stock intake snorkel and see if you still want an intake. I haven't done many mods, but this was by far the cheapest ($0) and made a big improvement in power delivery.

Thanks for all the info. A lot of people says that the perrin intake is the best. Any down falls with them.

sorry to hijack your thread, but really didn't want to make a new thread for a simple question..

my IX has full bolt ons, cams, tune. it has an ams intake on it (k&n filter). the filter is really dirty, or appears to be at least. would it mess with the tune at all if i were to replace it with a different STYLE filter? i would like to replace with a dual cone style filter. something like this:

I use the Apexi intake. its nice, has everything, no codes, does a good job at filtering. Its pretty loud tho if you care. It sounds like you have a blow off valve lol

I love my moore 3.5 inch intake, if you don't get a tune it might throw a code though.
