Searched around and cant seem to find the best location on the upper intercooler pipe. What are your suggestions? I would think closer to the throttle body would be good and just extend the pig tail wires, or do you reccomend closer the the wire harness of the maf to wire it up? thanks for your input.

Didn't think most tuners were using IAT's for SD conversions anymore. Just mimic Fuel Temp

But yea if you are going that route I've always seen them welded on the straight of the UICP

I have mine in the upper pipe right before the 90 degree bend that goes into the throttle body.

I put mine in the upper pipe down by the trans to keep it from heat soaking.
