My New 2001 EVO VII RS-II LHD

I am happy to say I am the new owner of the red 2001 Evolution VII RS-II that was just for sale on this forum. I picked the car up from an evom member in Arizona and brought it back to northern Colorado today. It is my understanding that this car was in PA for the previous 8 years with it's original US owner, making me the third owner in the US. A big shout out to kpt6 for taking care of the car and working with me on the deal. The car is a little rough around the edges but I plan to fix it up and bring it back to it's former glory. Heck it may even wind up at a rally x or two

I will be looking for some parts in the near future so any help would be appreciated. The original owner removed the SAS system and put on a tubular exhaust manifold. I would like to covert that back if anyone has parts hit me up.

A couple quick pics, more to come once I get the paint fixed up.

It was nice meeting you Cobrajetguy! I am very glad this car went to a long-time 4G63 guy, and a good home where she will be cherished. I look forward to seeing what all you do with it!

Only checked it a couple times, fuel light came on at 1/8 tank and I think it took less than 11 gallons. I was filling up around 250 miles but could probably squeeze out 300. With the car being new to me I didn't want to trust the gauge.

I never knew LHD driver Evo 7 existed, where were these sold? How was this imported to the states? doesn't the 25 yr. rule apply to this Evo 7?

They also made the VI in LHD, I assume they are built for European countries as a bunch of them are LHD. This car was brought in by Evolution Imports back in the early 2000's with only 3k miles on the odometer.

Thats pretty awesome, and explains why that Lancer evolution in 2 fast 2 furious was LHD as well, unless it was just a lancer with a evo shell. It looks spectacular, does your have that factory anti-lag piping near the camshaft and exhaust manifold/and valve cover?

Funny you should mention the car from 2 Fast, it is a modified EVO VII and the vin on that car is 50 numbers away from mine so they are like brothers LOL. It did have the pipes for antilag but the previous owner put on a tubular exhaust manifold and removed the pipes. I will be adding them back on, already sourcing parts.
