How much is an ARC intercooler

Came with my car and just want to know how much is this intercooler?

I get them for $1800 AUD new so about $1400 USD

is it like a name brand thing? dont see why i would spend over 1k for a IC when i can get one that works for much less....

ARC is like cosworth parts, really expensive but everything is a work of art. A Turbo Tuff crankshaft you put in your evo, a cosworth crankshaft you mount above your bed haha.

They were always expensive so some folks felt it was a status symbol to have them. AFAIK they don't make them anymore so that's driven the price on them up even more.

They do still make ARC parts but i have noticed its range of parts is declining. A few months ago i was able to buy an ARC oil cooler but not anymore, dont know why. Only parts left for the evo are radiator, intercooler, gear knob, the air induction box and replacement filters.
