2.5" down pipe, front pipe, cat removed .. 3" catback worth it?
Hi all
I have an evo5 with a custom 2.5inch downpipe (from the factory o2 housing), front pipe with decat.
I am looking at cat back exhausts now. is it worth going to a 3inch cat back? or will the 2.5inch front section mean that I might as well stay with 2.5inch all the way back?
OR
should I be looking to replace the entire system with a 3inch system??
I don't have plans for an aftermarket o2 dump and I will be using a stock frame turbo (TME).
I plan to stay with stock internals and the TME turbo, so my power goals are under 300kw.
Looking at budget versus gains! going to 3inch down and front pipe will mean $$ which could possibly net more gains spent somewhere else???
Thanks everyone!!

Do it right. Get the full 3" turbo back and dont look back. You will make more power with a 3" turbo back regardless of any stock frame turbo you use. Turbo cars need as much flow as they can thats why an o2 dump and test pipe makes a huge difference on these cars.
