Help on sideskirt

Hi,

I took my evo to wash the underneath, and when it was being lifted using a 2 point jack, the front left jack point did not have enough leverage underneath and so the sideskirt rested on the jackpoint so pressure was applied.

Do you think there are any grievous damage as the sideskirt was rested on the the jack arm? Can this pressure affect chassis or can I put my mind at rest that damage cannot be applied to the extent that chassis was affected? Also I cannot see any visible differences (alignment etc) rather than the sideskirt has a dent which the other sideskirt had not.

Any feedback is appreciated.

It's just a plastic skirt held on with a couple screws and some clips. If it just pushed in on the plastic and wasn't even enough pressure to even push the clips out then you are fine.

You're fine, it won't effect any frame/chassis related. I've done this a few times on accident. Like 4wh said above, your side skirts are abs plastic held on by clips and screws. You can just push it back, if it doesn't budge you can put minor heat on it using a heat gun or hair dryer making it more flexible to bend back to shape without cracking the paint.
