Anyone have an alternator handy?

Looking for the length and thread pitch of the 4 bolts that clamp the alternator shell closed. 3/4 of mine have vibrated loose and come out. Nice!

I currently have 1 holding it together and I don't feel comfortable.

Thanks if you can help!

Brady

Wish I could help you bud but unfortunately I've got nothing and my google searches also fell up short...Im guessing you dont have any of those studs that backed out you could check with a dye(I know you're not an idiot so that's prob a no!)? Have you tried calling an evo friendly shop like STM to see if they could help?

I have an alternator on the way. Just won't be here for a couple days.

Pretty sure the alternator is toast. Only getting 11.5 volts. Parking it tonight for a few days.

Mitsu sells a bolt kit. There's a mitsu part number and all. Just can't find anything.

Thanks for the info. I ended up swapping alternators last night.

Pulled the one bolt from the old one. It had been wearing unevenly. I'm going to try to find a replacement bearing and replace the brushes as well. Hopefully have a good spare.
