Dude, if anyone is thinking of this they should totally do it. I brought my evo to Toronto in September and people were practically crashing their cars when they saw my evo. I'm only slightly exaggerating. A large asian population as well as a more rally and international motorsport savvy crowd equates to a high level of Evo-awareness in Toronto. I felt like a celebrity there...

I agree with you completely, nsnguyen. When I was there last Christmas, everybody wanted to race with me, especially WRXs.

If I am not traveling then I will attend.
I have been meaning to get up there.
I had plans to go two days ago but the weather was very bad.
I usually get up there a couple times per year but, not last year.
Do people really recognize the Evolution?
I could see maybe one or two people but that's it.

P.S. A guy from Buffalo left his STI in a ramp in TO and it got stolen!

I'm not sure if anyone aware that crossing the border from Canada to US is terrible.

I was in toronto 2 weeks ago. On my way back, I stuck at the Border (lewiston) for 2+ hours.

I usually go through Fort Erie (QEW to I-190) It's much better than Niagara Falls, and my average wait time is not more than 15 minutes.

I also got stuck 2 weekends ago! Going TO canadia is easy peasy, getting back to the US is a total pain in the ***!

I am still debating this trip... nsnguyen, it's great isn't it?? I couldn't stop at a light next to another import without them giving me props!

You mean the Lewiston bridge?? I always get stuck there, they never have more than 75% of the incoming lanes open, bastards.

I was still stuck for 2+ hours even with 100% lanes open on March 28.

I'll try Fort Erie next time. It seems a bit longer trip for me (from Boston).

Sorry for the OT. But I think all US folks need to know this as this add up the travelling time.

Yeah and if you even look remotely non-white (as my g/f does) you better have a passport and/or birth cert. to get back into the US. Otherwise you will wind up at the INS desk for an hour or two like we did.

What's a good tuner shop in toronto? I live in Niagara Falls and the best car I saw here was a sunfire with a dual muffler exhaust. If I'm gonna do anything to my car I'm sure I'm gonna have to get it done in toronto. Can't wait till I get my evo and burn them all to hell. I'm only an hour away and I go there a lot, so it'll be cool too chill if I can get the car before then.

I think Ultimate Racing is based in Toronto. It's surprising a Canadian company is doing Evo tuning when they're not selling Evos in Canada.

I'm willing to come up to Toronto for the Mississauga meet with Dr. Fob and LateSleeper to represent Cleveland.

Haven't done a weekend trip to Toronto in some years now, should be a good time.

All the local Rochester people can load up their Evo's on the Ferry and head to Toronto. It costs some $$ though from what I hear.....
