How difficult is it to work with the ft500 mgmt. Did you make all necessary adjustments in the tune? Or have a professional tuner make the changes?

Hi Phizzalot,

The FT500 is a standalone ECU, that can work with the stock ECU in some cases that it's necessary to keep some OEM functions, that was developed to be easy to use.

The unit has advanced features, but can me use from the rookie to the pro.

It's designed for universal use, so, you can use either on a 1 cylinder bike or in a 12 cylinder super car, the very same unit.

It has a hi-res touch screen that features dashboard function AND in-dash tune, to give the ability to tune without the need of a computer. Besides that feature, you still can use a computer trough a USB connection to do the tune and to review logs that are internally logged.

The unit has 5 maps internal memory, that can be changed even on the fly, for different fuels, or for different cars to use the same unit.

You can check out some videos here:

And download for free the ECU software, that has some example tunes and logs to clarify things.

Hi Phizzalot, sorry for the delay. FT is ridiculously easy, actually it's my coolest "video game"...

I have a friend who is tuner and he does a main map, so I just do fine adjustments.
