It was a fun car I won't lie, but they have so many problems I couldn't justify keeping it any longer. Engine wise it was solid, but everything else didn't like keep in one piece... The seats were great though, I think that was my favorite part of the whole car. After having my Evo there's no way in hell i'll go back to an srt.

 

yeah i hear ya man...i guess thats how i feel...the evo is much more solid and it looks a hella lot better lol...

 

Not to mention far less wheelspin and the car handles so much better. I laughed when I heard guys on here complaining about the Evo's turning radius being bad... Apparently they have never driven an srt4

baaahahahahahaha dude no kidding...there was no uturns in that thing...it was like a semi truck...funny story...i buy the srt4 and my wife gets in the back seat with my little boy...she says, "hey how do you put down the window in this thing?"...i tell her to just press the damn button...she proceeds to tell me theres no button but she found the thingy to roll the window down...i look through the rear view mirror and see her struggling with something so i catch a glimpse of the rear window going down...i damn near slammed on the brakes in the middle of the road...my exact words were " whhhaaaaat thhheeee fuuuuuuu********" lol...i couldnt believe it...what a rip off lol...but on a serious note, i have seen some very fast srt4s...i still think theyre cool...and to the guy who said theyre still a neon well...the evo is still a lancer if you wanna think about it that way...:cringe: :flame suit:

 

Oh yea pumpking and erabbit are just 2 of the many 9 second srt4's. They can be fast, it just was not a reliable car for me and it did not fare well in the New England winters lol as much as the evo gets a bad rep for interior I really like it, and it is for sure better than the neons interior

 

i love the evo interior...specially since i have the ssl...like i said, ill take the evo all day...

 

LOL, my situation is that I've got a bad knee and ankle both on the left. I have a IX and it's starting to kill me as my daily. I want to trade for a X MR so I can still keep an Evo but less stress on my leg. But I want to do a HP to HP trade too lol.

 

So I'm assuming you're looking for the auto X right?

 

well i have a friend with a x mr...hes been through all kinds of issues with this car...while it had bolt ons it was ok but soon as he started building it then $$$$$$$$ started rolling...fluid for the tranny alone is $600...had tranny built and at 500 miles had to send it to another company to get built again because i guess the first people ****ed up...not cheap...he hasnt been able to enjoy the car for 3 years...he has had bad luck with motor builds which has nothing to do with it being an mr but overall everything seems to be more expensive for it...car should be back from boosted therapy after thanksgiving...should make good power around 600whp so lets see...just hoping he gets it back and enjoys the damn thing...car still has 12k something miles lol...crazy stuff dude...
