Been out of it for awhile, need some opinions on basic power mods

Been out of the car scene for awhile now and wanted to get a check on what is being used now a days.

I want to do just some basic power mods.

The only thing ive gathered so far parts wise is:
- lower intercooler pipe
- o2 housing
- RRE downpipe

Was planning on fuel pump, injectors and finish out my turbo back but could use some suggestions on injector size and brand for exhaust pieces.

Are test pipes still the go to? Or are high flow cats a better way now?

Any other basic power mods that can be done relatively easy?

Check out our website: www.ExtremeTurboSystems.com - We're currently having a Cyber Monday Sale. Save big right now. We have test pipes, exhaust systems, injectors, lower pipes, etc.

Injector size is going to depend on your fuel choice.

Test Pipe vs HFC will depend on your usage and/or power goals.

Thanks!

Michael

Mate, there's a million mod threads on here with so many directions you can go like e85, walbro, s2s, injectors, beehives, ported, cop, etc depends on how much $$, don't plan on a few mods like injector size now otherwise you will restrict yourself for later when you upgrade your turbo. I bought my car with high flow cat, 3inch turbo back, walbro 255, LICP and mild tune but next step will be above list with maybe 1450 FIC and FP Red, do it right once

From my experience and my tuner will also agree with me on this but DO NOT go with the FIC 1450 Injectors, I stand behind the ID1000's. These will be plenty for you even if you go on E85 and upgraded turbo since it doesn't seem like you will be going after extreme power.
I do suggest you upgrade your fuel pump if you get upgraded injectors, and IMO I'm running a test pipe and have a full 3 inch turbo back exhaust so that might be something to look into if you want bolt on power with a tune.
Maybe someone already mentioned this to you or you already have it installed but an intake is a must for basic bolt ons.
