Mud flap question.

I've been trying to find a set of red mud flaps for my evo VIII. After a week of reading about fitment I saw someone post that regular Lancer Rally armour mud flaps will fit my evo.

Can anyone verify this? They look extremely different on their website... and Ive never been around a regular lancer.

Or if anyone has a suggestion for a good red mud flap I'm open to that to. My car is TB with red accents I thought red ones would look good.

Hi, I have seen plenty of Evo VIII's & IX's with Rally Armour mud flaps. They have the same mounting points, and they work fine.

I completely misread the information I was looking at... so now I'm back to looking for a red option.

Any suggestions?

I bought the universal urethane ones from rally armor because they don't sell urethane specifically for the evo 8.
http://www.rallyarmor.com/product_in...ite-logo-p-273
It was relatively easy to drill the holes and make them straight and fit decent. I wish i bought the basic flaps and the universal to more easily make the holes though. I have a slight rubbing at full lock, but i just need to drill the middle hole and toss in a screw.

How do you like the urethane? I have the traditional, but they are so stiff and they warp from dragging on driveways, etc. Was thinking of getting the urethane and using my traditional as a template to drill them out.

Well, you either can get the classic ones in red from Rally Armor which is the common answer. Or you get get the ones from Europe from "RallyflapZ", they offer urethane and also Kaylan (this is a very very good material that is used in WRC for many parts due to weight and extreme durability while still being flexible) but those cost about 2x as much at about $200+ they offer red though. The normal ones are about $150 shipped. Rally armor is about $110.
They do sell on EBAY but also have there own webiste just like Rally Armor as well.

I love the urethane. I think it looks great moving in the wind and mud/snow/dirt doesnt get caked on them. I don't have any pictures right now, maybe i can grab some soon.
