What ^ said. Look into Defi or Blitz, Greddy looks pretty good too.

I have the Autometer setup in my car....I did the 30psi/30vac boost Gauge, Oil Pressure Gauge, and EGT Gauge. Love the setup...all the vital items are right in my face and the red condom that goes over the lights is as close as it get's to the dash cluster red on the speedo and tach!

Why are you guys so hung up on oil pressure? You can't really tell much while you're driving until it's all gone and by then, it's too late, IMO.

FWIW, I have boost, EGT, oil temperature, oil pressure, water temp and volt meter gauges in my car and in order of importance:

EGT, oil temp, water temp, boost, oil pressure, voltmeter. I rarely ever use the last two.

I bought the boost & egt gauges. I find that my car's egts rarely go over700° C. Seems like most EVOs run pretty cool exhaust temps.... The Boost gauge is pretty good to have, but I think a wide band A/F gauge and a knock sensor display would be the absolute necessity for tuning or keeping track of the cars performance.

My $.02

Doesn't the apexi s-afc already have the knock sensor built into it?

How far away from the port is that EGT tap?

Not really, I had one of those and it does record or plot the voltages from the knock sensor. However, there is great doubt about the accuracy of it and how to interpret the data. Also, it's practically impossible to see....Something like the Knock Link is a much better. It shows the level of knock very clearly with bright LEDs that light up in a progressive fashion. I think I'll get one of those to complement the datalogging that my AEM can do....

I'll have to go out and look, however, the guys at Boost solutions placed the probe farther than I would have liked.... I think it's about 3" away from the head in the #1 exhaust runner...
