Saw these from the site's classifieds. Owner is telling me that these are cosworth but he don't know if m1 or m2. Maybe these pictures may help me to identify the specs.
I need to know asap since I will have it shipped to my parents (who are on vacation in San Francisco) and they will be the one to bring it home by next week.
Any input, leads, or answers are welcome.
Hoping for some help.
Thank you so much.
get some calipers and measure from the 'peak' of the cam lobe to the base, then measure across the width of the lobe. now subtract the first from the last. that will give you a pretty close approximation of your lobe lift. the published specs from the manufacturer should give an indication which cams they are.
I highly doubt those would be okay on the stock valvetrain, but I am not 100% sure on that.
I've read a write up from dsport that this set are not actually 280/280 i/e. Based on the write up and tests made on different cam kits they all depend on how the manufacturer measures them And on the camshaft sticky guide on this forum that these were actually 264/265.
So i guess I would be running fine? Since there are some who runs on 272/272 on stock valvetrain
Based on the dsport test the results of this set were actually good.
I have a set of comp 272s wouldnt reccomend stock springs though. I took those out and went with the gsc r2 and Im glad I did.
I see, need to do some more readings just to be sure. Not that I dont want to use aftermarket valvetrain but its a little bit hard to find on-hand parts here in my country.
