Hey guys what's up. Wanted to share some on experience on modding my chassis and suspenion so far building this evo 9..I learned a lot and hope I can help others. If needed
Here we go
So I bought 4 brand new complete bilstein b6 hd struts in all 4 corners.. the kyb stock suspension was just not cutting it
Then I put Tanabe gf210 springs on them which lowered the car about 1.5 inch all around..good ride
So after 10k miles of driving. I told my self I wanted better suspenion. More adjustability. More low
So I bought d2 coilovers
Car was amazing riding and handling with the bilstein. But nothing like the coilovers...
Next I bought the complete energy suspension master bushings kit..Holy crap what a pain in the a"'" it was installing these. Thank to a good friend with shop press made it much easier.
Here is more pics from my bushing installed. Energy suspenion. Doesn't make the rear lower and upper controll arm bushings for evo..also doesn't make rear bump steer kit.. so look no further I called whiteline.
the bushings made the biggest difference. bigger differenece over coilovers thats for sure.. i totally recomend doing the bushings to the evo. just keep in mind that uhave proper tools to do the job
