Need advice before making an IX MR purchase

In a nutshell; I need to know if it's a good idea to move forward or not; I'm going to get the car this weekend, but am having cold feet.

Car is GG IX MR.
It has 79,*** Miles on it.
Originally asking 25,000, but I was able to talk her down to 22,000

Appears to have had 3 owners, but after talking with the owner and seeing the car, it has definitely been taken care of.
It is almost completely stock; except for the coils, turbo back exhaust, and mild pro tune.
Seats have been replaced with VIII FQ400 Recaros
Has the JDM rear bumper and SE front lip.

Thoughts? He won't drop it past 22....should i move on or move ON IT?

Coils? Pro tune?

If you like it and can afford it, buy the car. It's your money, not ours.

Good luck.

seems pretty reasonable to me. If it's in good condition and you like it go for it.

Just seeing / hearing what others paid for theirs, and it's kinda hard to judge the market since the prices seem to fluctuate so much between cars

$22k seems a bit steep. I would go back with an "all I could come up with was $20k " and see what they say. If not I would sit on it because that car won't move quickly unless they come down in price a bit.

Yeah we've alreAdy come down quite a bit, from the asking price of 25,000$. He is standing firm at 22000. It's a beautiful looking car, and I've been looking for a long time...I guess some people seem to have more luck with finding them

Yea I consider myself lucky but mine did have minor hail damage and was priced according I feel but I did get low miles , if the car is in as good as shape as you say and you really like it then it's ultimately up to you to pull the trigger on it

Well 25 is way too high, so they've really only come down to a near reasonable asking price. I would sit on it and wait. As others have said, they won't be selling it fast at that price so give it time and it will drop. If they can get down around 20 I'd do it.

Clean CarFax/AutoCheck? Any liens? Title in hand? Stacks of service receipts and parts receipts? However you cut it, it is a ten year old car and you want to know its been taken care of.

Yeah, clean everything. All services done with Amsoil or Dia Queen. Stock clutch, which says volumes. He sent me a bunch of videos of the car/engine/etc. Driving, idling. It looks good. I know I may be taking a gamble but I think I'm just gonna drive down, and if i don't like it i won't get it. But there are really no red flags for me for why I SHOULDN'T other than it being maybe 2-3K over priced.

Those look like the normal Evo 8 seats to me. Does he have receipt for the coilovers, how many miles on them?

What would be the difference between US Spec and Euro Spec VIII seats? You can't see it so much on the driver side, but the passenger side has the red stitching
