What's up guys! In efforts to keep the Evo scene alive and thriving, I thought I would try my hand at making some youtube video's with my IX MR. I have a channel that was primarily motorcycle stuff, but I'm introducing my evo to make some helpful content down the road. How to's, reviews, installs, etc. I thought it may interest some of the forum members here

So here is a quick intro to my car if anyone wants to check it out

Good work mate, a few suggestions you might like to think about
Those joke clips, add more in there, adds a comedy layer
Add some first times, like take it to a drag meet and track day
Some roll on drags with your mates are fun to watch
Do some mod reviews
Women in bikini's screaming when you hit boost old gag
Night time cruising, you could test the theory that women don't like Evo's compared to BMWs lol
Maybe a wedding car too
See how many situations you can get your Evo into

 

All of those are great ideas! I have some footage from a couple months ago that I'll be putting up soon (snow drifts, rock chip repair) that I'll be adding soon!

Two things I noticed:
- Your interior is spotless
- There is clearly something wrong with my transmission. It looks so easy for you to get into gear. Kind of makes me want to cry.

Thanks man! I am pretty OCD and detailing is a hobby of mine! I don't know if I got an evo built on a wednesday, but my car shifts smoother than butter. Not one grind in all 6 gears! I'm hoping it stays that way

 

I'm extremely jealous

After my car gets back from the body shop (rear ended ), I'm going to have to seriously look into getting the tranny rebuilt. I've taken it to a local evo shop and the tech said it shifts beautifully, but I think it shifts like crap.

 

Damn dude, I was rear ended once! **** sucks. If it's not broke, don't fix it. Wait till it goes and then put some money into it!

seeing your guys excitement about the BEST evo ever made, definitely is making me think twice about keeping my baby!! Im the original owner and she only has 34,000 miles, I know I know (before I get lit-up here!!) These EVO's once yoked, its like owning that 500G Lambo, you know what it can do!!! OP being a bike dude, I cant see you owning any other car.

Sounds like you have a gem there man!! I honestly get attached to my vehicles, I'm just one of those guys. I feel like my car kinda represents who I am as a person, with how I keep it clean, presentable, etc. These cars are amazing man. It still blows my mind in the canyons and how it turns into a completely different car in every situation I put it in. Appreciate the observations!

 

this is sweet. want to start doing something similar with my recently purchased eve 8. Being in the pnw i only see subbies so i was gonna start a channel of me just owning wax’s and sti’s haha. keep the vids coming tho
