I personally rode in that car on Saturday, and let me tell you, it was INSANE! I didn't know it was possible for a car to accelerate like that!! I've ridden on motorcycles that have been MUCH slower... it was absolutely INSANE!
Thanks again Martin for all your help!

Thanks to everyone who was out this weekend and I hope you had fun during the ride-alongs.
I can post my EMS log if you guys want to look at it, but I was hitting about 7500rpm in every gear and took 4th gear to about 122mph. BTW that's with our bigger turbo kit on it. Notice how there is absolutely no lag between shifts. It's hard to tell from the video but the turbo sounds like a jet engine on spool, very cool sound.

I also went for a ride in the AMS Evo. Let me tell you, that video does not even come close to explaining the power of this Evo. Just pay attention to how fast he needs to shift....that's how much power it's making. My head was pressed against the seat every time he jammed on the throttle. It was a phenomal experience! To all fellow Evo owners: START SAVING MONEY NOW!

I have the redline set at 7900rpm on the EMS. Trans is stock and the clutch is a Exedy twin-disc metallic, which works really nice. I just got some Exedy Carbon-Carbon twin-discs in stock and I'm going to try one. It should engage very smoothly but hold more power at the track (the coefficient of friction of carbon-carbon goes up as it heats up).
BTW that box on the dashboard is the UTEC TUNER, very nice piece of equipment that displays A/F ratio's and lets you listen, via Headphones, to the knock sensor.....badass! if anyone is interested in these give me a call and explain how they work and/or give a demo.
Regards,
Martin

The AMS Evo sounded more like a jet engine, than some of the low flying planes taking off over our heads... it was absolutely insane. Wish I could have had more time in it, but had to give everyone else a chance.

.... The sight of a drum of racegas... does tend to make you want to commit a felony. I too have had similar thoughts...

here is a screen capture of the log file. The window in the upper middle is the tape-measure feature of the logger software. It shows you the change in logged parameters between two chossen points, in this case I started it at about 20mph and stopped at about 120mph.
