any inputs with this intercooler kit? this is the cheapest kit of greddy for ct9a.
thinking of getting a set. running on stock jdm7 turbine.

maybe someone here is using or even just tried this kit. want to here inputs first before ordering online

I think that's the intercooler I use. Got it real cheap, figured it was wider and taller than the stock intercooler so installed it about 2 years ago. Never had any issues as far as I know, car is now tuned to around 500hp (vd), built 2L LR, FP Black, R2 cams, etc. Seems to hold temps down ok, even after multiple 3rd gear wot runs when the car was being tuned (SD tune so intake temps were monitored). I'll probably swap it out for something better at some point (probably a Plazmaman Pro76) just because a 10k motor with a $100 intercooler seems a bit stupid. The stock intercooler is pretty good but I feel the Greddy might do a slightly better job keeping down intake temps, just because it's that little bit bigger.

 

I don't use the Greddy piping though, got a ets hotside pipe and a Muse short route coldside installed, so I can't comment on the kit as a whole.
