S1 or S2 cams for 500-500hp build?

Hi. I'm getting together the proper list for a IX build ive got in mind and think I've got most of the important bits covered but am a little unsure on cams. On my previous IX I was running gsc s2's on my rod jobbed block but still on the 80 series turbo and I thought that had some really good pull through the range and it all went together nicely. Now I'm planning a full forge build with new turbo etc and someone has said I'd be better of with s1's as s2's are better for 600+ builds?? I like the way my old car drove even on the 80 series so surely s2's would be even more at home with an even bigger turbo?

Any thoughts appreciated

I'd do S2's so you can keep some top end power since the turbo is gonna spool quick anyways

Cool, that's what I thought. I'll go with the 2's. Thanks

For the amount of power you gain up-top, itll be well worth it.
