Evo 9 Steering Column!!

Hey guys how are you?

Picked up an 06 Evo 9 not too long ago. Front end collision.

After acouple hiccups mid process everything seems to be going fine.
Swapped out the dash, etc.

Now.. the steering column issue. The "V" shaped spacers are blown from the accident. I guess those little safety pins drop and then the spacer wont tighten with that 12 mm by the actual steering wheel.

Does anybody sell these seperately or does anybody have some laying around? IF not is there any other fix?
I can get the steering wheel tight, it just moves side to side like an inch then it'll drop.
Thanks!!

In the tires, wheels and brakes section there was a post last winter?? where this same thing was happening although not because of an accident and I believe there was a fix. Anyway, since the search function on here is such a pain I didn't do it for you. Sorry.

I actually ran a search and found that the aluminum washers were glued in place or that they had ceramic pins in them. I don't know which is true. Mitsubishi says buy a new steering column. However one poster says he wired the aluminum washers in place and that fixed the problem. I also know there's a warning in the service manual not to use the tilt if the column is unbolted. Do that and bad things are supposed to happen.
