Need BOV help (turbosmart dual port on a evo 8)

So my stock 8 bov broke, so I bought a used turbo smart dual port, i didnt think to look when I took off the stock one. Does the plunger side of the bov go into the IC pipes or the intake?

plunger goes toward intake sir

If your speaking of the side that releases air.

That side feeds back in to intake not Intercooler pipe.

Going to chime in, mine is setup like this? The plunger sits directly under the cam sensor and i don't like it... is it supposed to be like this?
