Is this CF hood repairable?

It's an old Seibon TSII evo 8/9 hood.
paid $100 for it on a gamble of whether or not it's repairable.

Needs resin and fibreglass work, not to mention it needs to be recleared lol.

Fixable or nah?

Hello

For the amount of time / effort needed to "hopefully" correct that damage, it would be better to cut your loses & buy a new one IMHO

You could glass and paint it over the damaged area. Did this with a civic I had a while ago.

Seems it's a bit of work for the money someone will charge to fix it you might be able to buy a whole other one.

I re-lacquered my seibon hood thinking it would look new again, and it did, for a short while before bubbling up at the same sections. It still looks great from a distance, but I did myself a favour and ordered a new CF hood. So, nope, I do not think it is worth the time nor money.

And on a side note, it seems like seibon never bothered using measurements when making our body parts, the fitment is crap on mine.

that hood is done... only way to salvage it is to bodywork that area where it is exposed and paint it.
