Help me solve my issue please!

Hello evolution.net!
My 03 Evo 8 has been giving me major headaches and wanted to see if you guys have any pointers for me. I recently did some upgrades(fp black, walbro 450, kelford 272, 4 bar map, speed density) and the car will take a very long time to start up. When it starts up and is at idle it runs super lean. My tuner said he had to make it run rich so the car would stay on at idle. We've been trying to trouble shoot the problem. Hooked up a hose to the return line by the fuel rail and no fuel comes out while at idle. I've narrowed it down to a faulty fuel pump or a bad fuel pump relay which I will check tomorrow. Any other thought on what it can be? Thanks in advance!

Since the wally 450 doesnt just snap in like a wally 255 id say its a fuel pump install issue.Either the pump isnt fully up in hangar or the grommet is torn or missing.

When they take a lot of cranking, it's usually due to the pressure bleeding down to zero due to a leak either at the pump or internal in the FPR.

But besides that, the pressure will be all wrong which you won't find without a pressure gauge.
