Turbo timer removal question
Turbo timer removal question
I finally got to taking the turbo timer out of the console. I unplugged the harness, removed the timer and plugged the original ignition switch in. However now the car wont start while the parking brake is set. If I release the break, it starts right up.
I took the wire that was tapped into the parking brake switch out, which connected to the timer itself. Did I miss a step anywhere? I followed an install guide to help me get it out, did I miss anything along the way?
Thanks!
**Figured it out, after jiggling the parking brake switch a little it started, it must have been getting pulled up and a bare spot was shorting out

I have a bad habit of wrapping electrical tape on all cuts or old rinky-dink splice/tap sections specifically from dealing with things like this. It turns a lot of my looms into a mess haha. Glad you got that ghost sorted.
