STM Clutch Line Help

Just ordered the 1 piece STM clutch line that runs from the master to slave. Someone who has removed the clutch line please tell me there’s an easy way/tool to remove the bolt on the master.

I have extra long flex ratchet wrench’s, normal length and stubby. I took a quick stab at it and seems like it will be a pita with any of them. Also it’s 17mm correct?

Thanks!

I did 1x with master still attached.

I did 3x with master was taken out.

For me, its way more easy to take out the master cylinder first and install the line. I have STM too. Make sure when you install the hydraulic line and banjo bolt to master, align it 7oclock and torque it.

Thank you. What I ended up doing was using the long ratchet with pivoting head (about 16” long) and used a long screw driver to guide the ratchet on. It was so very easy this way and got it off the first attempt.

What a difference this line combined with proper fluid makes! Awesome pedal feel now.
