So after 15 years the interior dome/courtesy light went out. It's always set to turn on when I open a door, but I noticed last week there's no more light. I figure simple fix, buy a new bulb. I can not find the bulb number anywhere and the closest I could find is either 168 (which is much smaller) or 198 (which looks to be about the same).
Does anyone know what bulb size is this?
Also, I was thinking the bulb holder may be broken, as I put one of the working side bulbs in and it doesn't work. Seems like an electrical issue?
The 2 bolts that hold the light fixture and headliner to the roof act as the ground for those lights. If they’re not making good contact with metal, the lights won’t turn on. Just had a similar issue when I took my headliner down to fix my sunroof. Hope this helps
