handbrake takes significantly less force to pull after ebrake disassembly

So after installing rear extended wheel studs. I put everything back together as I took it off, same order same position. The wheels are still off the car and the car is lifted up. I pulled on the ebrake but it seems loose? It takes significantly less force to pull up on the handle like its almost too easy, its not like any ebrake in any other car where you got to yank on the handle to get it up. When I pull on it the ebrake assembly moves outward and when I have the rotors on the car and I try to spin them they don't move so that means the ebrake works. But like I said the ebrake handle seems loose/it takes significantly less force to pull the handle into braking position. Anyone experience this after disassembly ebrake/wheel stud install. Anyone know a fix? Or is this normal?

Have you tried to adjust the e-brake cable at the handle to see if it takes some of the slack out of it?

The parking lever should be adjusted to 5 to 7 clicks. The FSM reads to slacken the cable at the lever via the adjusting nut and then pump the brake pedal. This, it claims, adjusts the parking brake shoes. Ahh, maybe. I prefer a more direct approach - pull the rotors and and turn the adjusting star wheel until drag is felt when rotating the reinstalled rotor. Then pull the rotor and back off the adjustment two clicks. Reinstall, check for drag at the wheel (a little is ok) and check at the lever to see if you have the above first mentioned adjustment.
