That's expensive

I pay 800 per year so 800/12=$66 per month.

Of course, I am married over 25.

...I was just talkin' to my wife about this and she said we got a good driver discount after the first of the year so we will also be in the $800 range as well.

Keep your nose clean and if you can go to traffic school have those points removed.

... somewhere around $80/month in IL (far west burbs). Hehe, I'm too lazy to do the math, multiple cars, etc... I went through progressive.com. Nice online quote system and decent rates.

Definitely one of the benefits of getting older is cheaper car insurance...

$150/month through Progressive. I live in Marietta, GA, a burb of Atlanta. Progressive usually lowers my insurance every year too, so I hope I get another discount soon.

Also, I'm 23 with no tickets and not married.

I pay right around $700/year or $58/month in Ohio. Our rates here must be a lot lower than the rest of the coutry. I am also currently carrying 6 pts on my license for 3 speeding tickets. It does help that I am old, married, and have a house (multi car and house discount).

VEE21,the reason your rates are lower is that nobody wants to drive through Ohio, unless you like to be a moving target for a sniper(LOL)
