Saw a listing for a clean MR SE but could not debate if I could give up the SSL leather seats and the 5 speed. I was into sunroofs at the time I bought my car, but I rarely use it.

Keep looking and be patient. The biggest key is not to be a tire kicker, have your finances in order ahead of time and be ready to buy. The “illusive” stock evo is the hardest to find and also they are commanding top dollar. Good luck

Everyone wants 9 interior. I've seen people literally throw out the SSL interior pieces.

i have cash in hands,, went to see a STOCK Evo 9 MR few weeks back and find out the whole car is badly repainted, car was stolen recovery, car was found after insurance paid off the owner and carfax and autocheck reports shows Salvage Title but current somehow still holds clear FL title.. so i did not buy

^ sadly, it is more common to find that kind of Evo than a nice clean one. No idea why.
