Sometime has passed, some swearing , some broken drill bits, plenty of beers we have arrived here

 

Did you rebuild the ACD pump? If so, did you use a kit? ...did it work?

i replaced mine a few weeks ago with a used pump i found on ebay....i was going to attempt a rebuild but my pump housing was cracked, so instead i shelled out $700 just for the part!

 

the first few pics are of the hunk of junk that some scumbag sold me off ebay. i think he used it as a boat anchor, then when i try to get my money bak the scumbag had the nerve to tell me that i installed it wrong, like its some piece of rocket science.

yes i rebuilt it will all new orings, bearings, and stainless steel pump plate. used a kit from acd pump rebuild site. came with everything needed for the rebuild as far as consumables. i have yet to get it in the car due to my busy work schedule but have no doubts it will work.

 

which site did you use for the rebuild kit? when i looked, it was only a potential for a european supplier. What floored me with the whole ACD situation was the fact that mitsubishi wanted $2500 for a new pump. i couldn't tell them to KMA fast enough!

 

Yea i agree 2500 for a new replacement is absurd. The website i bought the rebuild kit from was acd-pump.com, very nice guy , fast to email, helpful with questions, and his youtube videos are awesome.
