that's a bunch of crap try calling defi if you don't mind spending some money on a phone call.

They treated me excellent. Defi screwed up my first gauge, then FedEX dropped the 2nd one. My first working gauge was the third one they sent me. If anything, I'd say they had excellent service. I believe a lot of the vendors here get their Defi stock through EDO Performance. I dunno what happened with your situation, but they took care of me.

My Defi is the same. It sits at 1 psi when off. I just live with it. It also reads 1.5 psi higher. I call it my "poser" gauge. Luckily, I have a $7 chinese gauge for accurate tuning.
