How to remove Evo IX MR reverse lockout lever ?

Hello. New MR owner here. Does anyone know how to remove the reverse lockout ring? Mine is damaged and would like to get a replacement. On my previous STI I just have to punch the pin out and the lever will comes right off.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure you just take the knob off, pull the shift boot down, and the lockout lever just twists off. It's threaded onto the shaft, but I don't think there's a pin or set screw

Tried and no way it can be twisted off. I'm afraid if I try harder it might break the black bracket underneath.

I just went and removed it on my car, and the lever just threads on, no set screw or anything. The black part that it threads onto is secured with a roll pin, but the lever that your fingers pull up on when driving is only threaded on. Did you unbutton the shift boot first? Maybe try to heat up the lever with a hair dryer?
