Automotive News says...

Automotive News, a very respectable news source, says the following in their updated Future Products section:

I've seen 2004 for the EVO reported in other places as well.

If it is released in the spring of 2003 then by federal law it will have to be sold as a 2004. So that does not mean you will be waiting another year.

Got this from Consumer reports 2003 new car issue.

Heard that the REAL Ralliart Evo was going to come here as a 2004 model, AFTER Subaru's Sti is released next year. And that the 2003 Lancer ASX, (I know this is an SUV in JDM but that's what the mag said) will have a 2.5 GDI motor, and available with optional AWD, will compete with the Spec V, and WRX models.

This isn't a word for word qoute, but it was something to that effect.

OH WELL, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
