I need help with this issue can the 5 speed transmission cables of evo 4/6 work for an Evo 8? I need transmission cables and I've been looking for weeks 😴

 

i thought the tranny was different... and if that would be the case, i wouldnt think they would work.... but i dont know for sure.

 

I can say for fact that Evo 8 cables in an evo 8 work on an evo 4 transmission. Not sure if will work the other way around, but I bet it will. Just as long as you have the correct cable brackets attached the the transmission end.

 

I already got it, it was a coincidence, but according to my mechanic it doesn't work because the evo 4/6 is shorter, the chassis is not as long as the evo 7/9 so that cable is different in length.
