Wow that's a tough one. Considering it's been parted out only God knows where those parts may be now or even if they still exist. But I will keep an eye out for ya though as these cars are thinning out a lot.

Thanks I really appreciate it! yea it is, but i find it worth it considering how special these cars are. The odds that the parts are still around and haven't been painted over, crashed or scattered all over the country is really low. I'm betting on pure luck here.

I do know that somebody took the doors from it and put their own tarmac black doors with damage back inside mine because when I bought it there was two black doors with a different vin from an evo 8, so if that car still exists someone has my evo 9 black doors on their evo 8.

Whooaa yeah that's pretty shady. As for rarity, yeah i agree, harder and harder to find clean, non-wrecked, salvage, non-rusted, running ones on the market. The spectrum is not very normally distributed. One side it's sh**boxes and then the other side it's all clean built monsters asking astro prices. Not a lot of OEM+ machines at least in the Northern Virginia area.

This is soo true, the ct9a is infamous for this. Im hard pressed to find another car with such a range of conditions. The 9's are usually always cleaner. I feel like the 2003 evos got abused the most during the period where they became affordable to amateur owners. Neglecting maintenance, hacking them up resulted in many messed up evos during that period. Thank goodness it seems like that's ending more every day.

You know if you asked this question 5 years ago I would agree that would be like finding a needle in a haystack. However, nowadays with so many Evo groups and people looking for Evo parts I think it might be possible to track this stuff down. I am going to suggest looking for those body panels in the Texas Evo group.

Good idea, I will head to texas evo community and give it a shot. I was thinking the same thing. If the parts are still around its more likely now that I would find the parts online, Pretty much every evo 8/9 owner remaining are involved in either builds or forums rather than just "driving around" because they got a cool car from a dealership.

I still have my OEM TB CT9A trunk in good condition (No Wing), it will need a lil sanding and paint around where the wing mounts. I had gotten my wing replaced under warranty due to the old issue with the clear lifting off the Carbon Fiber section and tech apparently didn’t use new gaskets to install the new wing.

I’d take $150 for it plus actual shipping. There are many panels for these cars still available through Mitsubishi, was looking at body parts for a local that needs an entire new trunck floor pan replaced due to a jack sliping accident he had. I gave him the link to order it.

Not sure what my trunk would cost to ship to Canada though. I’m in the US Northeast!!

I doubt they will have the vin sticker if they havent faded completely yet. I'm in Texas and know 2 evo IXs with salvaged fenders and I bet they removed those stickers

He's looking for the panels *with matching VINs* that were stolen off of his car wayyy back in the day. Needle(s) in a haystack, as he mentioned. Can't blame him for trying though. Who knows, people get lucky on weirder sh*t.
