hey guys. i was wonder if the available oem lips still being sold are the white that matches wicked white
any one here have experience ? my lip on my ix mr is a bit scratched up and i like to buy a new one
from STM its stated oem glossy white. has anyone with a WW bought on of these and the color matches ? at least 90%?
I bought one of these for my Graphite Grey Evo as the previous APR lip that was on there got destroyed. It matches pretty close to Wicked White from what I can see. Though I don't have a Wicked White Evo to compare it to.
Why not just get your original one repainted? If your car is white and you buy a new one, the new paint will not match your faded paint. A shop can paint your original one, and make it match the body.

And probably for less money too if you take it off and clean it up first OP.

Do not try and "prep" your own parts for paint. Clean with soap and water is OK, but don't try and do the paint-shops job.
I am a painter myself and I hate when people try and tell me "they will do the prep, all I need to do is spray". The prep is the most important part of any paint job.
All mitsu body parts come in white unless you are buying specific colors.
The white is wicked white. I had to purchase a new rear bumper years back and it matched perfectly. It was on a pretty new car though, so as others have said above, years fade paint, although with a front lip, probably won’t even be able to tell any difference

Sure, I literally meant disassemble and clean the part before giving it to the painter, not sand, filler, prime, etc. If you're going to go through that much hassle you might as well take your chances spraying it yourself anyways.
