Technically the 4.11 final drive is a Galant part, not an Evo part.

I would first check if it's available from Japan or not. I've learned that some things are listed as No Longer Available in North America but are still available from Japan.

Beyond that, MFactory makes aftermarket final drive gears.

Yes I know it is mitsubishi Legnum/ galant part and I contacted Japan and unfortunately they told me it is discontinued. I think the only option is Mfactory but the problem with them is they are noisy because helix angle is backward. But if there is no other option than I think that's the way to go. Thanks!!!

Not an evo 8/9 owner, but an evo 4 owner I am already facing this dilemma. Evo 4-6 transfer case rebuild are not possible as the gearsets are no longer available, and evo 7-9 transfer cases wont fit as the output is higher up, and hits the subframe of the evo 4-6. I dont wanna give up on this car though, so im trying to see if the evo 4-6 subframe can be modified to fit an evo 7-9 transfer case

Oh wow thats awesome! Too bad it costs a fortune, but better than nothing. No idea how I never came across this Ive even spoken to sheptrans, jacks, tmz, etc. and they all said they cant rebuild them due to parts being discontinued, so I wonder what exact parts they are speaking of. Since these are made for high power applications, I wonder how long they last under normal driving conditions? I wonder if the diff in the tcase is still available anywhere. Thanks bud

For sure there's a Quaife diff and maybe others. And yeah, ain't cheap to Evo!
And probably the crazy high end parts will last very well with proper maintenance.
