Evo8 No Start Condition
Evo8 No Start Condition
I'm missing something on my evo 8. I have a no start condition. Background is as follows:
2003 evo 8 recently bought it back from a friend. He had taken it to buschur racing and had them do a head port and polish, dual valve springs, manley valves, walbro fuel pump, fic 2150 high z injectors, aem fuel rail with pressure gauge and afpr, injector resistor pack delete, speed density conversion, tuned on e85 by buschur racing, new timing belt, fp black turbo.
Timing did slip on intake side bent a the valves. No compression on 2 3 4.
Had head rebuilt compression is now 124 126 126 126 (not on a warm motor with throttle plate closed)
I have strong spark on new ngk bpr8es plugs gapped @.026
Fuel pressure reads 43 psi on fuel rail while cranking.
if I remove fuel pump fuse the car will run roughly until fuel is burnt out of cylinders
Cam trigger vane appears to be in correct orientation. Exhaust dowel pin up with small vane 45° counter clockwise of dowel.
What am I missing gurus? Almost seems that the spark timing is incorrect or it's being flooded.

Solved!
The crank sensor was faulty. The signal wire was only sending .03v back when triggered. Replaced it and started first crank.
Notation of symptoms. Fuel Spark and Air were all present but no start condition.
Thank you everyone.

Waiting for the fedex guy to deliver the pump. Should be here in the next couple hours. In the process of working the coils I found one of the fuel pumps kept blowing the fuse. The pumps internal fuel tank wires insulation was ripped. Fixing that issue first.
