Evo 4 with evo 8 transfer case

Hello forum, it would seem I blew the transfer case in my evo 4, and it seems that you can no longer get them rebuilt by anyone due to parts being discontinued. I am aware that the evo 7-9 t-case will bolt up, but wont clear the subframe due to the output being higher up. Im wondering, has anyone tried modifying the evo 4-6 subframe to fit an evo 7-9 tcase? I dont want to give up on this car just yet as I love it, and i would love to use a newer tcase since they still have parts available. Thanks

here is one for sale on MLR, message member see if its still available.I know he says collection only but sometimes they ship if they cant find local and the price is right.. look on UK ebay site also, youl find one eventually.

I have a Evo 4 engine, trans and transfer case in a 2G eclipse that I am considering parting out very soon. Just trying to gather enough interest to disable it. What is the transfer case worth, I can't find any examples online but if we can work something out I'd love to help! I'm in Nova Scotia too, just bought an Evo 8 and can't drive two cars unfortunately!
