How to launch video

I’ve been searching for solutions but haven’t found a good video yet. I’m having trouble launching my Evo 9. With the factory ECU, I was able to achieve 0-60 times between 2.1 and 2.5 seconds, with trap speeds around 125 mph. However, after switching to the Link ECU, my 0-60 times are still around 2.1 to 2.5 seconds, but my trap speed has dropped to 110 mph. I’ve tried launching at various RPMs between 3k and 7k, but the car seems to bog down despite feeling like it wants to take off. The car is currently producing around 500-550 whp with an FP Red turbo and running on E85. Any advice on how I can improve the launch?”

I'm gonna ask the obvious question - have you ruled out some issue with the new ECU? You say you dropped 15 MPH which is a huge loss of HP. Assuming your Evo weighs around 3,300 lbs that could be a drop of as much as 150 HP or more.

FYI in drag racing the trap speed is determined by HP, while the ET is primarily the amount of torque that gets converted to forward motion (aka traction).

According to the dyno sheet I got, it’s about the same as stock ecu.

The thing is, a launch would affect your ET primarily - trap speeds not so much. By 0-60 do you actually mean 60 ft times? If you didn't mean 60 ft times, do you have those to compare between stock ecu and new one? And the new ECU has launch control, and it is set correctly I assume?
