Hey, so i'm going thorough kind of a restoration. I pulled my evap core and its pretty crusty looking. So i ordered a 4 seasons one. It showed up and it didnt match the picture. It was too thick to fit in the cap that screws on the end of the box its fitted into. So i ordered a replacement. Same thing showed up. Then i ordered a napa one. Same exact core. Then the UAC one. Same core. I reached out to 4 seasons. They said they used to use the oem cores. Then those dried up and they switched to another manufacturer. They said the core was 4mm thicker and they figured that since the oem one had a bunch of foam on it that it wouldnt matter since the new one doesnt have any foam on it. Well it does matter so now those dont fit in our boxes. I'm guessing that this impacts any of the mitsubishi's from those years. Anyone know any solution to this? I'm really trying not to buy a $700 one from the dealer!!!
