Need help, Is this a good deal? 2003 EVO 8 full build. 40 psi. Compression test and leak down test on the sheets. Photos with all details attached. Previous Owner did the radiator, wastegate, re torqued head studs and dialed the car in. This was June 2025. Owner before that did the whole build in 2022.
Guy wants $32k, is this a good deal?
I was looking at a bone stock 2006 Evo 9 Mr for the same price but it's literally bone stock and needs a paint job. There was another Evo 9mr that I was looking at that was the same price as well and it was a red one but they are not in the greatest of conditions as far as interior. I did find a pretty pristine one but want $60,000 for it because it only has 45,000 miles lol this one seems like a really good deal.
The only thing I don't like is that it's got a TCU branded remark on the title or something I heard due to discrepancy with the mileage and apparently the previous owner said that the owner before him put down the wrong mileage accidentally or something. It also only makes 400 whp on 93 so I'm going to have to get it retuned as I want more power on 93
here is a red one that I'm looking at does this one seem like it's a better buy? This guy wants $2,000 more but here is the picture of the build Dyno sheet and the car.
minor, but the red car is leaking power steering fluid and "almost everything on the car has been painted or refurbished" but not the leaking PS resi or the degraded plastic resi for the radiator, lol thats the first two things i would do (personally)
