Hopefully no one combines this with some other "700 replies" thread.

Has anyone heard anything about the Evo VII's from EI yet?

I think it has now been ~27 months since the first handfull of guys put their money down.

Celm or WRC4ever did you guys hear anything yet? Refund? anything?

Good for you. You should have filed suit for the 2 years you lost in interest.

I still have no idea why Celm is attempting to give EI a good reputation?

It would be nice to hear from the other guys? I can't imagine EI returning their $.

"would do business with them again"?????? WHY? Do you like giving people $30k interest free loans for 2 years? If so, please do business with me.

Celm is probably trying to save a little face here..

No offense celm, but you were a martyr for all of the rest of the people sitting and waiting..

Glad to hear you got your funds back..

So the question is: Evo 8 or the "upcoming" MR??

from everything Senor info posted it sounds like they are damn near impossible to sue.... with their incorporation in that goofy island in the carribean and short statue of limations....

Not sure if they are getting new business or not, or if they even have half the cars that are listed for sale on their website....they had a pile of silvia's on there the last time i looked.

I only know that NHTSA has not yet announced a decision on either the Evo VII petition or the Evo VIII petition. There was some brief action in the Evo VIII docket at the end of January. Sean Morris was given a chance to respond to the objections raised by Mitsubishi's lawyer. He basically sent back a bunch of pages from an Evo VII service manual as evidence that the mythical non-US LHD 2003 Evo VIII is similar to the US 2003 Evo VIII.
