I was looking at the intercooler this morning and noticed part of my grill (that mesh stuff) was bent over in the upper left corner of the piece that is over the intercooler. It doesn't look like it was an accident. It actually looks like it came like that since it exposes a bolt. I tried to look behind the plate to see if there is the same thing on that side and their appears to be. I've had the car for like 7 weeks but I guess I just never noticed it.

 

I was buffled when I first saw the same thing. The mess are meant to be bent on the corners so you can access the bolts when you remove your bumper.

 

lol... i noticed that last week and got all nervous... but then i saw the bolt and knew it was normal....

 

Yeah, same here.. initially I was wondering what was wrong then I realized that its an access point for the bolts.

 

Yeah, I saw a guy make a write up for making new grillls, and I noticed in the corners you had to bend peices...I also thought it was some sort of defect.
